SOME COMMENTS ABOUT BUENOS AIRES ACCOMMODATIONS

1. The congress/conference will take place at the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism located in a campus on the border of the city, because the original Conference Center downtown Buenos Aires is under reconstruction since last year.

2. There are no dormitories available on the campus. The nearest hotel is 5km from there in Belgrano (a neighborhood of the City) or 10km downtown (in the center of the city).

3. Due to the fact that NOW (meaning, only recently) Buenos Aires and Argentina became "tourist fashion", it is impossible to get a whole hotel for the congress.

4. That is why we emphatically suggest that the participants should contact our Official Travel Agency as soon as possible and ask for their personal needs and prices (You don’t need to take only one of those expensive hotels below). Our agent is called Carlos Hatcherian and is a very nice and responsible person that will be willing to help all of you in the best way to choose the hotel or accommodation you need.

4.1 There are two or three stars hotels since 70€. On the other side, you can find cheaper hotels (one and two stars), as well as "bed & breakfast" of different comfort level.

5. We suggest to take an accommodation downtown where you will have all the best and interesting opportunities (theater, cinema, tango, bookshops, restaurants, etc. etc.). The Agent will try to keep you all as near as possible so to have informal meetings after the congress.
